What is CleanTech silicone and how is it different from TPE?
CleanTech silicone is Arcwave’s proprietary sleeve material. It is denser and more biocompatible than standard TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which is the material used in most strokers. The key practical difference is hygiene — CleanTech silicone is non-porous, meaning bacteria cannot penetrate the surface, making it significantly easier to clean thoroughly after use. TPE is porous and harder to sanitise completely.

How does the tightness band work?
The tightness band wraps around the outside of the open sleeve to compress it and adjust the internal tightness. It also holds the Zing in a fixed position for hands-free use — secure it to a surface or between cushions and let the dual motors do the work without needing to hold the device.

Can it be used without the tightness band?
Yes — the Zing can be used as a standard manual stroker without the band. The open sleeve design allows for a full range of manual stroking motion. The band is optional and adds the hands-free and tightness-adjustment functionality.

What lubricant should I use?
Water-based lubricant only — silicone-based lubricants can degrade the CleanTech silicone surface over time.
