Pink Womxn of Substance - Rachael SE of LesBeHeard

We are proud to feature prominent womxn of substance and Rachael SE is our first!

1) Tell us more about what you do

Professionally, I am in the Media industry.

As for passion, I started Lesbeheard (A queer woman site) to inspire, advocate, educate and celebrate women in love.

To share educational content, stories and to be the voice we never had.

2) Why do you do what you do?

Getting messages saying how they are so glad and grateful that there is a page like LBH to help them through their discovery, self-love and a platform where they feel comfortable, relatable and inspired, makes me wake up every day to continue what I am doing.

3) How did you get started?

I started writing my own blog about my wedding journey, and suddenly I had so many follow requests and messages thanking me for sharing my stories, and asked me for more!

4) What messages do you have for fellow womxn out there?

Love yourself, choose yourself, and you will never regret it.

5) What messages do you have for fellow womxn regarding their sexuality?

It is okay to discover it late, it is okay to want to understand and experiment.

It is okay to be who you want to be.

6) What do you think of sexual wellness products?

HELL YAS!

7) Do you have a favourite sex toy?

If it is your first time wanting to try a toy, I would recommend a Vibrator. I may be wrong, but it’s probably every women’s best friend. Mine at least. Haha.

8) What do you wish you knew about sex and sexuality growing up?

I wish I knew a little more about self-pleasure, compared to pleasure with a partner.

I wish to know more about queer sex, not about how to pleasure yourself, but how to pleasure your partner.

9) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

  1. I definitely want to see myself legally married in the eyes of the Singapore government. (I got married in Australia, under the commonwealth law)
  2. The world to be more open and accepting of LGBTQIA+ , Mental Health and Sexual Health.
